Blackburn Rovers have started life back in the Championship strongly, having failed to register a loss in their opening four fixtures of the campaign.

With one win and three draws to their name, as well as a thumping victory over Carlisle United in the Football League Cup, Tony Mowbray’s side owe a lot of their success to Bradley Dack.

The 24-year-old has found the net four times in all competitions this season, and his presence on the pitch has not gone unnoticed, having been awarded a new long term contract at Ewood Park, which will keep him at Blackburn until the summer of 2021.

The attacking midfielder, who joined in June 2017, helped Blackburn Rovers gain promotion to the Championship last season, scoring 18 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions, and was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year 2017-18.

Whilst Bradley Dack is certainly an important player for Mowbray’s side, following an injury to the middle man, questions begun to arise over whether Blackburn are too reliant on the Englishman.

We discuss...

Alfie Burns

Probably, but every team needs a player like Dack on board.

He’s so creative and is a threat anywhere around the box.

If he gets injured, Rovers will be worried, but it isn’t worth worrying about that at this stage.

Christian Fuller

Not at all! They might be reliant, but I don't necessarily think that is a bad thing.

Bradley Dack is a very good player, and has shown his talent and potential for Blackburn, but why not have a focal point of your team.

He doesn't look set to be leaving Ewood Park any time soon, so why not be reliant on him!

Louie Chandler

I think they probably are.

They struggled to create much against a poor Reading side without him last night and that will be a worry for Mowbray.

Others need to step forward and take some of the pressure off him.
