With Leeds United only managing a draw against Aston Villa on Sunday, the champagne could come out at Bramall Lane as Sheffield United secured automatic promotion to the Premier League with a game to spare and can now challenge Norwich City for the title on the last day of the season.

Chris Wilder has led his side back to the English top flight for the first time since the 2006-07 season and will be hoping he can better the one season they spent in the first tier back then.

So how will Sheffield United fare in the Premier League?

We discuss........

Benjamin Lang

"I think they'll survive.

"They will be involved in a relegation battle, but they have a brilliant team ethic that could well bring them some success.

"However, they need to invest sensibly over the summer. The players they recruit need to compliment the ones already there."

Toby Wilding

"I think they can compete.

"What budget they get could determine how far they go, but they have impressed immensely this season, and it will be fascinating to see how Wilder's tactics work out in the top tier.

"I think they can definitely cause teams problems."

Alfie Burns

“That squad is going to need a sprinkling of players, but they’ll be competitive, Wilder’s side always is.

“What they’ve done in the last three years is remarkable and they won’t fear anyone in the top-flight.

“There will be tough days along the way, but they’ve every chance of staying up.”

Gary Hutchinson

“They’ll struggle.

“Sorry Blades, but it’s an honesty shout.

“They’ll be compact, hard to beat but unless there’s some serious incomings up front, they’ll be shot shy too.”
