Leeds United host Birmingham City this weekend, looking for an improvement in the form that has seen Marcelo Bielsa's side pick up only one win in their last four outings.

Ahead of the match, Bielsa may be concerned by comments made by his loan striker Eddie Nketiah, who has suggested that he is getting frustrated only being used from the bench, especially as he scored a hat-trick for the England U21's during the international break.

Nketiah told Sky Sports: “I am really just trying to do as much as I can,” adding: “Obviously, I will never be happy with being on the bench. I want to play. I pride myself on being in the team. I think I am good enough to be in the team."

So should Leeds be nervous about losing Nketiah in January following his recent comments?

"Leeds fans should rightfully be worried about losing one of their star strikers, with Arsenal surely not being happy over the forward’s lack of gametime at Elland Road so far this season.

"With the rumours cropping up that Bristol City are ready to renew their interest in the 20 year-old forward when January comes around, and the fact that Nketiah netted three goals for the England U21s a couple of nights ago, then Leeds supporters will be demanding for the striker to be given a start.

"Bielsa currently seems reluctant to give the loanee a chance, who is yet to start a league game since signing in the summer, and the England youth international must be running out of patience.

"Nketiah is one of the more promising youngsters at Arsenal and deserves his chance at getting first-team football, but Arsenal could decide that his future lies elsewhere for the second half of the season."

"I think they should be wary, yes.

"It appeared that the whole reason Arsenal opted to send Nketiah to Leeds rather than Bristol City in the summer was because of Victor Orta's convincing presentation.

"But there is surely no way that 'Nketiah being an impact sub' will have been part of that pitch.

"Arsenal are enormous fans of the striker so if he is not getting the first-team football they think he needs, why wouldn't they recall him and send him elsewhere?"

"I think Leeds have got to be careful here. Nketiah will know that he needs to do well at Leeds to help his chances of getting into the team at Arsenal, so he won't be happy with sitting on the bench and he'll probably feel that he deserves to be starting games ahead of Patrick Bamford.

"Just because he's coming from a big club like Arsenal, that doesn't guarantee that he should start games, but Nketiah is a special talent and he's shown on a number of occasions that he's good enough to make an impact at this level.

"The fact that Nketiah has scored the same number of goals as Bamford, when he hasn't had half as much time on the pitch and he still hasn't had a chance to start a game in the league will be extremely frustrating for the striker.

"If Bielsa doesn't start to give Nketiah more opportunities in the team, Arsenal should seriously consider recalling him in January and if they do decide to do that, Leeds would only have themselves to blame."
