Football League World's Brentford fan pundit Rhys Byron has commented on the potential selection headache that could be facing Bees boss Thomas Frank, with Bryan Mbeumo performing well in the absence of regular starter Sergi Canos.

Canos of course has been ruled out with an injury that is expected to keep the Spaniard out of action for a significant amount of time, thus leaving the Bees to call on the services of summer signing Mbeumo to fill the void on the right hand side of the Brentford attack.

The Frenchman has ultimately performed the role well, meaning that Frank could well have a selection dilemma on his hands once Canos returns to full fitness, particularly with the former Liverpool winger having been a regular starter for the Bees before his injury setback.

We caught up with Byron this week and our fan pundit gave his view on this potential dilemma, with the Brentford fan saying:

"I think it’s tough to call because Mbeumo has played well so far, but it’s also hard not to play Canos when he's available.

"I find Canos to be a silent inspiration to the other 10 players on the pitch, when he plays well and is fired up, the others around him react to that, thus improving the squads overall performance levels.

"For me that’s a rare quality to have as a player and for that reason I feel that he simply has to start games when he is back to full fitness."

Given the impact that Mbeumo has made during the absence of Canos, it's fair to say that the Frenchman has done enough to warrant being a regular starter even when the Spaniard makes his return and furthermore Frank will simply have to find a way to facilitate the presence of both players in his starting eleven, with both worthy of a place.
