There was not much Easter cheer around Elland Road this weekend after Marcelo Bielsa's side suffered back-to-back defeats, that all but ended the Whites' automatic promotion chances, with Sheffield United now three points ahead with only two matches left to play this season.

Though Bielsa is bound to be caught up in the tension surrounding gaining promotion to the Premier League automatically, or via the play-offs, he cannot help but be concerned with moves in the transfer market, with transfer targets like defender Liam Lindsay of Barnsley subject to interest from Wigan Athletic, as per the Sun's Alan Nixon.

So should Leeds push to sign the 23-year-old amid interest from Wigan Athletic?

We discuss.........

"You wonder if this is one they need to worry about.

"Given the partnership between Jansson and Cooper, it is hard to see anyone getting a chance ahead of them at Elland Road, and you feel that Lindsay will want a guarantee of regular football if he is to move on."

“I think this could be a good move.

“They’ve got a couple of decent centre backs, and a couple more in the Under 23 set up.

“Still, competition for places is paramount and Lindsay would offer that.

“They might waste him though, if he didn’t play enough.”

Louie Chandler

"I think it all depends on outgoings.

"If Leeds remain in the Championship, there is bound to be plenty of interest in both Jansson and Cooper so if one goes then they would be wise to go all out for Lindsay.

"But if not, they should maybe look to be a bit more shrewd."
