The future of Max Aarons is bound to be a big talking point this summer.

Norwich City's full-back has been attracting interest from the likes of Everton and Tottenham Hotspur during recent months based on his outstanding displays at Carrow Road.

A move to the Premier League would be appealing for the player, but with the Canaries now promoted it means that Daniel Farke's side may have a better chance of keeping the player.

So could Aarons stay with Norwich following their promotion to the Premier League?

The team at FLW have their say...

Jordan Rushworth

Aarons has done a magnificent job for Norwich now over the last three seasons and despite them having earned promotion to the Premier League it does seem the time is right for him to make that next step now.

The defender would have seen how well Ben Godfrey has performed at Everton and that will have shown him what he could do. While he has also seen Jamal Lewis not do as well since moving to Newcastle, so he will be aware he has to make the right choice in terms of who he joins.

The right-back has the potential to be an excellent player in the Premier League and you could see him being developed into a top-four standard of player if he makes the move to either Everton or Tottenham.

It is a massive decision for him to make and he will need to think about where he would get more game time next season, either at Norwich if he moves elsewhere. He should get minutes even if he moves because he has the quality needed and is ready for a big move I would say.

I think he’s going to leave if truth be told as I think he’s outgrown Norwich really.

Everton and Spurs are sure to offer a brilliant amount of money for a club of their size and you would like to think that the player will want to take a step up in his career.

He has served the Canaries so well and will be sent on his way with their blessing.

I feel that a deal will be done pretty promptly and I think Everton will get their man in a similar way to when they signed Ben Godfrey last summer.

If Norwich aren't willing to spend some decent money this summer, then I think Aarons should be looking at an Everton or Tottenham to move to.
He'd slot straight into both of their starting 11's with ease and both teams have ambitions of Champions League football, whereas Norwich's immediate aim will be to survive in their first season back in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke's team has developed a lot over the last 12 months, but it still needs investment in certain areas and without that Aarons will probably be in a relegation battle once again.
I can see his head being turned massively if there is genuine interest from Everton and Spurs, and I think he would be silly not to make that jump this summer.
