Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has not been shy in revealing details of his side again, ahead of the clash with Middlesbrough this weekend and it looks like defender Luke Ayling will be starting as per Phil Hay of the YEP.
Ayling is going through a difficult period that has seen his form somewhat abandon him at a crucial point of the season, and has struggled since returning from injury late in December.
So is Bielsa right to start with Ayling?
We discuss.....
Jacob Potter
"I think it’s a stupid decision.
"Ayling hasn’t been in very good form of late, and what is it saying about the younger players that Bielsa has available to him?
"Ayling could benefit from a spell out of the team and I think Bielsa has got this one wrong."
Louie Chandler
"Definitely.
"He has had a blip in recent weeks but for the most part this season has proven to be a quality right back.
"Bielsa will have undoubtedly put some fire in him ahead of the Boro clash."
Jay Taylor
“Yeah, pretty good call by Bielsa.
“The only way to get out of bad form is to be given the chance to play your way out of it.
“Had he sat on the bench, the form would stagnant at mediocre, but he is given the chance to get out of the funk and help his team move back to the top of the table.”
Gary Hutchinson
“I believe so, despite what some might think.
“Leeds fans have a love hate relationship with players don’t they?
“Ayling has a bad game, he should be out. If he plays well, they want him in the England team.
“Leeds’ problems don’t stem from the right back position.”
