Swansea City manager Graham Potter will be hoping his side can kick-on when they return from the international break to face Aston Villa under their new boss Dean Smith at Villa Park this Saturday.

Potter finds his side down in 11th place, some eight points off leaders Sheffield United, so the need for three points on Saturday to re-invigorate their season has never been greater.

For 22-year-old Swans striker Oli McBurnie there is a chance to add to the four goals he has already scored this season. A regular for Potter, McBurnie will need to continue to finds the net as goals have been an issue for his side so far this season.

But is McBurnie in it for the long-term? Where will he be in three years time?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

I see him being in the Championship, but not necessarily with Swansea.

For some reason, I can see him at a club like Leeds or Hull if they are still in the second tier in three years time.

Oliver McBurnie’s level is the second-tier and if Swansea ever went up, his stint back in the top flight would be short-lived.

I can’t see him being at Swansea in 2021, but I see him being a Championship stalwart.

Gary Hutchinson

Yeah, why not?

They’re playing nice football and are looking for consistency.

I like the early stages of Graham potter’s reign.

He’ll retain players and build slowly and I see McBurnie as a key part of that.

George Dagless

It's hard to say.

I think if Swansea return to the Premier League they have a great chance of keeping him but if not other clubs will be interested.

He's shown what he's about this year and plenty of clubs will be wanting to enlist such talent.

Jacob Potter

It all depends on whether Swansea gain promotion.

McBurnie will need to continue his good start to the season but if Swansea fail to gain promotion to the Premier League in the next couple of seasons then we could indeed see McBurnie move on to a Premier League club with a number of potential suitors waiting for the striker's signature.
