Fulham have moved up to fourth in the Championship following their emphatic 4-1 victory over Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night.

Tom Cairney and Aleksandar Mitrovic both scored braces for Scott Parker's side as they secured a fifth win of the season which was aided by John Swift's dismissal for the hosts inside the first 20 minutes.

Fulham have taken some time to re-adapt to life back in the second tier following their relegation last term, but the Craven Cottage outfit are now starting to look more comfortable in their surroundings having gone unbeaten in their last five matches.

The nature of the Cottagers' midweek victory should give Parker's men huge confidence going forward, with this being the second time Fulham have scored four goals in a match this season after their 4-0 victory over Millwall back in August.

Following the full-time whistle, Fulham took their Twitter account to declare the result a "Midweek Mauling":

Plenty of Fulham fans responded to this tweet with many of them praising their side's midweek efforts, while others urged them to keep this run up following back-to-back victories in the last four days.

Here are some of the responses...
