Huddersfield Town have confirmed that defender Terence Kongolo has left the club to rejoin Premier League side Fulham on a permanent basis.

Kongolo was on loan at The Cottagers during the second half of last season as they won promotion to the Premier League, although injury restricted the centre back to just two appearances.

Despite that, Kongolo has now returned to Craven Cottage on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee, reported to be worth around £4million.

The move capped what was a disappointing end to the summer transfer window for Huddersfield, with the club also failing to find a replacement for Karlan Grant following his move to West Brom, and a deal to bring winger Rolando Aarons to the club from Newcastle falling through.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, plenty of Huddersfield fans appeared far from impressed as they took to Twitter to react to news of Kongolo's departure.

Here, we take a look at some of those supporters had to say.
