Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is a man in demand, by one club in particular.

Tottenham Hotspur have had a well-documented interest in the 23-year-old having been in for the attacker last summer.

Their advances were to no avail as he remained with the Championship club.

But reports have emerged that the Premier League heavyweights are said to be back in for Grealish and could plot a move for the Villa talisman this summer.

Spurs could be looking to take advantage for any Financial Fair Play sanctions that could be imposed by the EFL in the coming weeks and months.

Grealish has four goals and five assists this term for his club, who are currently sixth in the Championship with eight games remaining

The interest in the 23-year-old will not go away, and Spurs have been synonymous with a potential Villa Park exit.

So, would it be a good signing for the Premier League outfit?

We discuss…

Jay Taylor

“I think having had another year at Villa, it proves how vital he has been for the club, and that will be advantageous to Spurs if they were to sign him.

“It would be a good move for the club and player as both are on the up and Grealish has had an extra year to mature and improve.

“Spurs would be getting a much better player this summer than they would have last.”

Gary Hutchinson

“It would be a decent signing, but I have my doubts too.

“He’s a Villa hero, afforded a certain leniency in my opinion.

“He was poor before his injury, and those dips in form are largely ignored by his adoring Villa fans.

“He wouldn’t get that at Spurs.”

Jacob Potter

“He’d be an excellent signing for Spurs.

“Grealish has already proven in the small number of games he’s played since returning from injury, that he can fire Villa back into the Premier League.

“A player who has a bright future ahead of him and could prove to be one of the signings of the season if Spurs can pull it off.”
