‘I hate this stuff’ – Some Leeds United fans react to David Moyes admission

Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to David Moyes’ comments about their suitability to the Premier League.

Having come close to finally ending their 15-year hiatus from the top-flight last season under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds will be looking to go one step further during the current campaign.

The Whites, who currently sit third in the Championship standings after two rounds of fixtures, strengthened their squad over the summer by bringing in the likes of Helder Costa, Eddie Nketiah and Ben White to Elland Road.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Moyes praised Bielsa’s side by admitting: “I think the Premier League needs Leeds United back.

“Leeds United’s support is arguably one of the best in the country.

“They’re missed in the Premier League.”

Whereas it could be argued that the Whites are a bigger club when compared to a number of the top-flight’s current inhabitants, they have now been languishing in the Championship for nine years and have only started to look a threat following Bielsa’s appointment in 2018.

After hearing Moyes’ comments about their side, some Leeds fans reacted on Twitter to his declaration.

Here are some of the best responses from the club’s supporters…

Moyes is still without a managerial role after leaving Premier League side West Ham United last year following the expiry of his contract at the London Stadium (via BBC Sport).
