One of the biggest deals to fall through on Deadline Day was the proposed move of winger Daniel James from Swansea City to Leeds United, that fell through at the eleventh hour when the powers that be at Swansea pulled out due to issues over the payment terms.

James was at Elland Road having completed a medical when news the deal was off broke, leaving the player with no option to return to the Liberty Stadium for the remainder of the season.

So despite the disappointment of the move falling through, will James be able to rediscover his best form at Swansea?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"I find it hard to believe he can.

"James’ head evidently is going to be set on a move to Leeds in the summer after they reportedly aren’t letting their interest die down.

"He won’t recapture his best form until he leaves Swansea in my opinion."

Louie Chandler

"It might take a while but I think he will.

"Leeds remain interested in bringing him in next season but his form falls off a cliff then that could change.

"Keep them keen and play out your skin."

Jay Taylor

“It’s hard to say right now, but if he is even the slightest bit professional, he will do his best and play into good form.

“That won’t be right away after the poor circumstances he found himself in on deadline day.

“He will soon get over the disappointment and there is enough games in the season till to be able to prove he can get back to his best."
