Dean Smith's Aston Villa stormed to a seventh straight win on Wednesday night when they saw off relegation threatened Rotherham United 2-1.

They got off to a tricky start, however.

After picking up two yellow cards inside a 15 minute spell, Tyrone Mings was given his marching orders just half-an-hour into the clash.

And they fell behind just two minutes later as well when the Millers' star man Will Vaulks tucked away a penalty, but Villa roared back in the second half.

In a frantic six minute spell after the restart, Jonathan Kodjia levelled things with a spot-kick of his own before a wonderfully worked goal was started and finished by Jack Grealish to ensure yet another three points.

Although Mings may have had an early bath, his centre-back partner Axel Tuanzebe returned to the first team with an outstanding performance.

And it was one that his teammates clearly appreciated as well, if Gregg Evans' tweet is anything to go by.

The team spirit at the club is as good as it has been since their relegation and the fans clearly love to see it...
