‘I feel ill’, ‘Next joke please’ – Many Huddersfield Town fans react to Leeds United transfer link

Many Huddersfield Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Leeds United are said to be interested in signing Lewis O’Brien this summer.

The 22-year-old central midfielder has fast become one of the first names on the team sheet under Carlos Corberan after progressing through the club’s academy to first team level and has been attracting interest in his services from elsewhere for quite some time.

O’Brien featured on 42 occasions for the Terriers last term and would be a big loss if he did indeed move across Yorkshire to Elland Road this summer.

The midfield man does have just one year remaining on his current contract however, which does arguably increase the possibility that he will indeed be sold on.

Naturally the news surrounding O’Brien didn’t take long to reach the Huddersfield faithful, with many taking to social media to air their views on the matter.
