Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson is set to start on the bench for tomorrow's game against Ipswich Town after his partner recently gave birth.

The Sweden international has been back in his home country as his child was born and Bielsa was quoted by journalist Phil Hay that he was expected back in England tonight.

However, he will have missed crucial preparations for the game and the Whites boss confirmed that it's unlikely he will start.

"Jansson will come back tonight but I don't think he will be a starter. We'll see if he'll be able to be in the group."

That is a big call from Bielsa as Jansson has looked back to his best in recent weeks and has established himself as a key player for the side.

Therefore, many fans did not agree with Bielsa's call, particularly as the player should be back in the UK tonight.

Here's how they reacted to the Jansson update on twitter...
