The Championship returns this weekend and the likes of Sheffield United will be looking to keep their brilliant run of form going.

The Blades look to be genuine title contenders this season which is quite remarkable and the next few weeks could shed light on whether they can keep things up.

Indeed, if they are top at Christmas they'll certainly feel as though they can carry on so, with that in mind, we're debating whether or not they will be...

Sam Rourke

I don't think so.

I just can't see where Wolves are next dropping points, and they are the team to beat.

Wilder's side will no doubt be in the top six come Christmas, but Wolves have the overall quality I feel, to maintain top spot by Xmas.

Alfie Burns

They have every chance as the fixture list appears to be kind to Chris Wilder’s side.

There is an expectancy at Bramall Lane now, and many are waiting to see Sheffield United deliver and push for yet another promotion.

If they can continue their impressive run of form, there is every chance we could see them move to the top of the table before the end of 2017.

Whether they can stay there is another story.

Chris Gallagher

Maybe not top, but they'll be in the mix.

The Blades aren't up there by accident, they've played too many games and have beaten too many good teams for this to be a fluke.

They're well organised, energetic and have quality in the final third. Chris Wilder's men are here to stay and will be in the mix come Christmas.

Adam Simeoni

I can't see it happening. Wolves are going to run away with the league barring injuries, and they should be top of the pile at Christmas.

The Blades have been fantastic but I can see them falling away a little as sides such as Middlesbrough begin to assert their dominance, but the Blades will certainly be in the top-six at Christmas.
