West Brom moved back to the top of the Championship with a comfortable 2-0 success at Stoke City on Monday.
Whilst Slaven Bilic will have been delighted with the win and the overall performance, he will also have been pleased that his side kept a clean sheet – just their third of the season.
Even though Sam Johnstone, Kyle Bartley and Semi Ajayi have been pretty strong individually, the attacking nature of this team means they haven’t managed to record as many shutouts as they would have liked.
Will West Brom win automatic promotion?
The club sent out a tweet to recognise that today, praising the stopper for the role he has played in keeping three clean sheets in the past four games.

And, it prompted a good response from the fans, with some even admitting that they had been wrong to criticise the keeper earlier in the campaign when he didn’t always convince.
