Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor would like to make a move to Celtic Park, having turned out in the famous green and white strip for a charity match at the weekend.

The 31-year-old who is a free agent after his release following his release in the summer is currently keeping himself fit with a view to getting back into football.

But would the player be a good signing for Celtic?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

I can't see it.

Celtic fans were not too impressed with their summer dealings and I think such a move now would only anger further.

Agbonlahor back in the day would have been a fine arrival but now it just seems too much of a risk.

Gary Hutchinson

Nope.

Agbonlahor isn’t Celtic material I’m afraid.

He showed signs of serious decline in his final season or so at Villa.

Take an America payday, or find a League Two club who need a helping hand.

This is like a random Football Manager transfer six years into the save.

I don’t get it, it doesn’t make sense, it’s all very odd.

It would be a good move for the player, but the Celtic it’s a move that epitomises the club once it doesn’t make Europe.

If he goes there and done well fair play - but I can’t see it happening.
