Plenty of Leeds United fans have reacted on social media as striker Kemar Roofe closes in on his move to Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old was a key player for Leeds last season and finished the campaign as the Whites' top scorer with 15 goals, despite facing months on the sidelines through injury.

The forward is set to undergo a medical at Anderlecht today and is set to sign a three-year deal with the Belgian outfit, who are managed by former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany.

Roofe has one year remaining on his contract at Elland Road and Leeds director of football Victor Orta admitted last month that he was confident the striker would sign a new deal.

However, the forward is now closing in on his move to Belgium and plenty of Leeds fans have taken to social media to react to the news.

Some fans admitted that they would be disappointed to see Roofe leave Elland Road, but pointed out that it makes sense for Leeds to sell the striker this summer as he only has one year remaining on his contract.

Other fans admitted that they would not be too bothered about Roofe leaving, as long as head coach Marcelo Bielsa is able to use the money for him to sign a good replacement before the end of the transfer window.
