The January transfer window is just around the corner, and Derby County manager Gary Rowett will surely have one eye on it.
The Rams are in with a serious shout of promotion to the Premier League this season, so it’s essential that Derby utilise it to optimum effect.
How will Derby’s January pan out?
A very quiet window.
Gary Rowett has a very good squad available and he’s openly stated that big money won’t be available.
If there’s quality out there then Derby will be interested but he may have to sell to buy.
Signing a striker should be at the top of Rowett’s list.
If the manager can bring in a prolific goal scorer, then Derby look good for a play-off spot, and could even challenge for an automatic berth.
I think it might be quiet.
The Rams have a good squad with good depth and I think Gary Rowett won’t want to shake it up too much.
Perhaps a couple of squad players might come in just to help their top six challenge along though.
Colback has been linked with the Rams, and I could see the 28-year-old signing.
