‘I can’t see Man City paying more than £20m/£25m’ – Arsenal, City target price tag?

According to the Sun, Arsenal and Manchester City are among the clubs looking at Norwich City star James Maddison.

The Canaries midfielder has been superb this season with him winning plenty of accolades.

With that in mind, then, he’d surely cost a bit if he was to move on and so, with that in mind, we’re taking a look at exactly how much…

Having watched this boy from a young age at Coventry, I know firsthand just how good Maddison can be.

It was criminal that Coventry sold him to Norwich for peanuts and the Canaries must avoid those same mistakes and hold out for a fee upwards of £25m.

For a big Premier League club, he is probably worth that outlay as he is young and has potential to reach the very top of the game.

Around £25m.

Maddison has enjoyed a fantastic season and is more than deserving of a big move to the Premier League.

Personally, I can’t see Man City paying more than £20m/£25m, but Arsenal’s need is greater and Norwich might be able to get slightly more from the London club.

Chris Gallagher

£20m would be fair.

Maddison looks a class act and has great ability on the ball.

When you see someone like Sigurdsson go to Everton for over £40m then the market dictates Norwich can get a massive fee for the player even if he is only proven in the Championship.
