The permanent manager's post at West Brom remains available, with free-agent Slavisa Jokanovic and current Preston boss Alex Neil the leading candidates to replace sacked Baggies boss Darren Moore.

Caretaker boss Jimmy Shan was in charge for the 1-0 win over Brentford at the weekend, but with no fixture now until the end of the month, due to the international break, the West Brom board have some thinking time if they are to make an appointment.

Neil has performed well at Preston with the Lilywhites unbeaten in 12 and now in seventh place in the Championship, only missing out on a play-off place currently on goal difference, with eight matches of the season remaining.

So do you see Neil realistically leaving Preston for West Brom?

We discuss......

Gary Hutchinson

“Not West Brom, no.

“Celtic were interested weren’t they?

“That I could see happening.

“He might relish the Preston challenge though.”

Jacob Potter

"I think it’s a possibility.

"Neil has to look at furthering his career as I can’t see him progressing at Preston anytime in the future.

"A move to West Brom would be the right move for Neil at this moment in time."

Jay Taylor

“I can’t see it myself.

“I think he may be a contender but feel West Brom will opt for a manager of a higher profile.

“Clubs like the Baggies tend to go for a name – having done so when appointing Alan Pardew.

“I think Preston fans can rest east on Neil’s future."
