Birmingham City's final eight matches of the season have now taken on huge significance following the nine point deduction for failing to adhere to FFP rules, that will take effect immediately and thrust the Blues into the cusp of a relegation battle.

The Blues will now drop down to 18th spot in the Championship.

Amidst all this turmoil, former manager Harry Redknapp has chipped in, suggesting that it is not his responsibility for the spending spree whilst at the club, that has led to the points deduction, while also suggesting that Blues striker Isaac Vassell could be worth millions in the future, as reported in The Telegraph.

So is Redknapp right in his assessment of Isaac Vassell? Could you see him being worth millions?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Yep.

"I really like Vassell and when fit he can definitely cause real problems in the Championship.

"Can he make it to the Premier League? There is every chance but he'll need to get on a run of games for Brum first."

Jay Taylor

“I can’t see it myself, but you never know what is around the corner in football.

“Che Adams was not touted to be the success he currently is at Birmingham, so there is nothing to say Vassell won’t be either.

“Redknapp has a decent eye for a player, so he could be onto something with this one.”

Gary Hutchinson

“Is that his way of trying to weasel out of being held responsible for the FFP issues?

“He’s avoided blame and now he’s claiming there’s a superstar at the club?

“I can’t see it. Maybe they all see something in training I don’t.”
