West Bromwich Albion assistant manager Graeme Jones states the Baggies are targeting 100 points this season in the Championship, according to the Express & Star.

The former international number two, who helped guide Belgium to third place at this summer's World Cup believes that in past seasons, survival has been the aim for West Brom creating a defensive style of play.

But with promotion back to the Premier League the priority, a more attacking philosophy needs to be adopted.

So is a 100 point target realistic?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

Yes, as a target. I’m not sure they’ll get it, but of the relegated sides they’ve settled quickest I feel.

They must not get carried away by the thrashing of QPR though, at present they’re terrible and the score reflects on Rangers more than WBA.

The Baggies have some strong attacking options though and will score a lot of goals, so why not 100 points?

Jay Williams

I think the only aim should be to win promotion.

Gaining 100 points is something they can look at if they do manage to run away with the league.

But with the squad they have and the manager doing so well, there is no reason why the Baggies cannot be pushing towards that mark by the end of the season.

Darren Moore will ground his players though and just try to get the job done.

George Dagless

I can't see it myself.

The Championship looks as wide open as it has for years with a huge number of sides capable of winning it outright.

With that in mind, I don't think we'll see the 100 point mark broken.
