Managerless West Brom risk losing one of their prized youngsters with 19-year-old midfielder Rekeem Harper heading towards the Hawthorns exit as a free-agent, if he turns down the latest and final contract offer the club have made the player.

Celtic have joined in the hunt for the 19-year-old midfielder who scored once and made one assist in 20 appearances for the Baggies this season.

So what do you think the chances are of Harper still being at West Brom next season?

We discuss........

Jacob Potter

"He’ll have had his head turned, I can't see him staying.

"Harper has really impressed me this season, and he evidently has a bright future ahead of him in the professional game.

"Celtic are a huge club, who could offer Harper the chance of playing European football, which will surely be tempting for the youngster next season."

Ben Lang

"I think Harper now looks set to leave West Brom, and I can’t see him staying at the Hawthorns beyond the summer.

"West Brom will be frustrated with themselves for not tying him down to a new contract sooner, and Harper will surely have had his head turned by offers such as this.

"He has looked somewhat disinterested since interest began to grow in his services, and I think he is now eyeing up his exit from the club."

George Brooks

"With West Brom facing another season in the Championship, I think it will be very difficult for them to keep hold of Harper.

"He is a promising young player and has done very well for the Baggies in the Championship this season. He may find it very difficult to turn down a club the size and stature of Celtic.

"West Brom should do everything they can to try to keep him at the club, although that may be prove difficult."

Gary Hutchinson

“I can, yes.

“I don’t always put a lot of weight behind these ‘links’.

“Agents speak to journalists, club speak to journalists and stories start with little or no substance.

“I’m interested in a Mercedes, will I get one? No.

“Harper would be best served staying put.”
