Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is involved in meetings with owner Andrea Radrizzani and director of football Victor Orta, with his future at the club, plus transfer targets and improvements to the Thorpe Arch training facilities all believed to be subjects of discussion.

Bielsa will have plenty to consider should he stay on for a second year at the Whites, not just his current playing squad but those who have been out on loan, players like defensive midfielder Vurnon Anita who has returned to Elland Road from a season-long loan at Dutch side Willem II, after they decided against making the move permanent, as reported by Dutch publication Brabants Dagblad.

So with Anita returning to Leeds, what next for the midfielder?

We discuss........

Louie Chandler

"Who knows, but I can't see him putting on a Leeds shirt again.

"Marcelo Bielsa made it abundantly clear last summer that the former Newcastle United man has not place in his first-team and I see no reason why that would have changed.

"I suspect another loan move abroad will be on the cards."

“A permanent exit, surely.

“Anita wasn’t good enough for Leeds last season and I doubt he’s good enough now.

“It’s important Leeds are ruthless with their approach this season, and getting the likes of him off the books permanently has to be the aim.

“He won’t be the only one heading out of the exit door this summer, though.”

Ben Lang

"I don't believe Anita has any chance of a future at Leeds.

"This is because Bielsa was happy to ship him out last summer, while the club also need players off their books to free up wages.

"Bielsa will want any new additions to his squad to be a result of his free choice, which is why Anita appears to be on his way out of Elland Road."
