After a shocking start to the season, the outlook is looking much brighter at Loftus Road, as manager Steve McClaren's QPR side are up to 11th place in the Championship, now just seven points off leaders Leeds United.

It has been quite a turn-around for McClaren  who has had to deal with the prospect of a transfer ban in January following punishment for FFP violations.

But with McClaren getting a real tune out of his current squad, who are the youngsters in the squad the fans should be getting excited about?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

Ebere Eze.

I know he’s in the first team, but he’s young and incredibly exciting.

I can’t see him being with the club long.

They always produce good young players at Loftus Road, but eventually they move one. That’s ambition for you.

George Harbey

Ebere Eze by a country mile.

He may have gone off the boil in recent weeks but he is still an integral part of the QPR team.

Premier League clubs were circling around him at the start of the season and he could find himself in the top flight in the next year or so.

Jay Taylor

Amrit Bansal-Mcnulty.

He signed a three-year scholarship in May 2018 with the cub and make 20 appearances for the U18s last year, scoring five goals.

He’s now one of the mainstays in the U23s side.

He is a dynamic attacker who can carry the ball forward and find that killer ball to unlock opposition defences.

He is only 18 and has huge potential, so he is defiantly one to watch and for QPR fans to get excited about.
