Managerless Aston Villa have endured an extremely tough start to the season, that see's them in 15th place, ten points off new leaders Sheffield United and in danger of a season in the doldrums, should the new manager not be able to turn things around quickly.

With all aspects of the club coming under huge scrutiny from transfers to tactics to the effort put in by players, everyone is playing for their place as a new regime arrives at the club.

But who has fallen down the pecking order at Villa Park and should be sold come January?

We discuss......

Jay Taylor

It is hard to tell now that there will be a new manager in charge and players will be given a clean slate.

But If I had to pick one, I would go for Henri Lansbury.

With John McGinn in charge and Jack Grealish there, Lansbury could find himself out of favour once more with the new management team.

I can’t see him at Villa Park for much longer.

Gary Hutchinson

It’s going to be Grealish.

Henry needs to spend money, that much is certain.

The FFP issues are not far away at all, but selling a home grown player would make a huge difference.

The new contract was a smoke screen.

George Harbey

Micah Richards surely?

Not many clubs may want him due to his lack of game time over the years, but any money they can get for him is better than nothing.

Jacob Potter

Henri Lansbury hasn’t made an appearance for Villa all season and is down the pecking order at the club behind the likes of Glenn Whelan and John McGinn, and only made six starts last season so his current game time will be a real concern this season.
