Bristol City fans have had to wait 30 days until they added to their ranks at Ashton Gate, but they have finally secured themselves a signing in the form of striker Nahki Wells.

The 29-year-old forward joins on a three-and-a-half year contract from Premier League side Burnley, having been on loan at QPR during the first half of the season before being recalled.

During his time at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, Wells became a fans' favourite this season as he netted 15 goals in 29 games across all competitions, before Sean Dyche opted to recall him to Turf Moor to try and sort out his long-term future.

The striker now adds depth to the attack at Ashton Gate, as he joins a strikeforce that already contains Famara Diedhiou, Andreas Weimann, Antoine Semenyo and Benik Afobe, the latter aiming for a return in March following an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.
