Football League World’s Queens Park Rangers fan pundit Louis Moir has revealed the two loanees he would also like to see sign permanently for the club after an update emegred regarding Nahki Wells.
The Burnley striker told Talksport last week that he wants to stay at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium permanently following his loan spell and Moir says that he wants to see Wells’ fellow front-man and the club’s midfield engine commit to the club.
“Jordan Hugill and Luke Amos would be the two,” the regular punter told Football League World.
“Jordan has been brilliant so far for us, just like Wells he suits this style of play and that has showed due to the amount of chances that the team are creating for him.
Can you name every top QPR goalscorer from the last 15 seasons?
“He has also come out and said he is very happy at the club and if there was an option to sign him next summer for a fee that is not too much then I am sure a deal could be done between both West Ham and QPR.
“Amos is a difficult one because he was in Spurs’ first team plans not too long ago before he got a bad injury. I am sure he would cost a fee that would be totally out of our current budget due to him being a young English talent.”
Burnley brought Wells to Turf Moor from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2017 but has struggled to stake a claim for first-team football, being sent out on loan two seasons on the trot.
In 14 Championship matches this term however, Wells has netted eight second-tier goals, taking him to the top of the club’s scoring charts and establishing himself as a firm fan favourite.
This Friday night sees the R’s travel to Craven Cottage for a West London derby with Fulham, knowing that a win could see them rise to within a point of the top-six.
