Barry Douglas has had a tricky time of it at Leeds United this season after arriving at the club to much fanfare back in the summer.

The Scot made the move to Elland Road from Wolverhampton Wanderers after being deemed surplus to requirements at Molyneux despite having a big influence on their title-winning season.

Douglas played 39 times in the Championship for Wolves last season, racking up a remarkable five goals and 14 assists in the process.

He has struggled a bit more with the Whites this time around, however, providing just five assists in 22 matches.

But injuries have played their part and he picked up his most recent one against Norwich City last weekend which looks set to take him out of action for a while.

However, on Wednesday morning, he gave an update to fans on Instagram saying: "Step by step working to get back to full fitness and enjoy the round bag of air again."

He will be eager to get back onto the pitch to show what he is capable of and ensure Leeds win promotion to the top-flight.

Loads of fans reacted to the update, and here is what they had to say...
