The Daily Mail understands that Hull City are set to sign Norwich City’s eight million pound rated winger Robert Snodgrass, following the Canaries’ relegation to the Championship.
It is understood that a move could be sealed as early as next week with talks at an advanced stage. The Scottish international has impressed during his top flight career following his move to Carrow Road from Leeds United in 2012.
He has made just over sixty appearances for recently relegated Norwich, scoring twelve goals.
Sky Sports reported on Tuesday that three other Premier League clubs, namely QPR, Sunderland and West Brom, were interested but it appears that Steve Bruce’s Tigers have emerged as front-runners for the tricky winger’s signature. It may be just the first of many departures from Carrow Road as new boss Neil Adams struggles to keep hold of his starlets.
