Hull City are apparently set to confirm the signing of Bournemouth winger Marc Pugh on an initial loan, according to Sky Sports reporter Mark McAdam.
Pugh has been a part of the Cherries squad since signing from Hereford in the summer of 2010 on a free transfer but now looks set to leave the south coast for Yorkshire.
The 31-year-old has been out of favour at the Vitality for a while now, making just 20 Premier League appearances in the last two seasons.
During his eight-and-a-half-year spell with Eddie Howe’s side he has played over 300 matches, scoring 56 goals and contributing 52 assists in the process.
Tigers boss Nigel Adkins will be looking to strengthen his side this month with the club now in an unlikely race for a top-six finish.
Despite being a pre-season tip for relegation, they now sit in eighth place, unbeaten in their last ten matches and just six points behind Derby County who occupy the final play-off spot.
This would be a brilliant signing.
Hull currently look unstoppable, with Jarrod Bowen firing on all cylinders but adding some more experience to their ranks would be perfect.
It could also take some of the goalscoring and creative burden away from Bowen which would be a bonus as well.
