Hull City and Middlesbrough have endured extremely different starts to the 18/19 season, as the two sides prepare to face each other at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Nigel Adkins' side have lost three of their last four league outings, and sit 21st in the Championship table after two wins, one draw and six defeats in their first nine games.

Boro, on the other hand, have made a flying start to the season, and sit joint top of the standings with Leeds United after five wins, three draws and just one defeat - Boro have only conceded one goal in their last eight league outings as well.

With the two sides desperate for a win for different reasons, here FLW provides you with the stat pack for the fixture...

The Tigers are expected to make three changes to the side that lost 3-0 to 10-man Reading last weekend - with Evandro, Kamil Grosicki and Jordy de Wijs set to come to replace Kevin Stewart, Todd Kane and Tommy Elphick.

Boro, on the other hand, are expected to make just the one change from the side that drew 0-0 with Swansea City last week, with Mo Besic set to come in for Adam Clayton in central midfield.

In terms of goalscorers, Hull will be relying on top scorer Jackson Irvine to spearhead them up the table with three goals; Fraizer Campbell and Jarrod Bowen also follow closely behind with two goals.

Martin Braithwaite and Britt Assombalonga will be looking to build on their tally of three goals each thus far, otherwise may run the risk of being replaced by West Ham United loanee Jordan Hugill in the near future.

Boro go into the fixture as favourites, especially after winning four of their last six games against Hull, and they also average more shots per game and more dribbles per game than Hull - Nigel Adkins' men surprisingly have more possession than Tony Pulis' Boro.
