According to the Hull Daily Mail, Leicester City will have to pay for than £2m to sign Hull City’s Eldin Jakupovic, with the Tigers unwilling to let the goalkeeper leave for cheap this summer.

A number of players are set to leave the KCOM Stadium this summer, following Hull’s relegation to the Sky Bet Championship, but the club will not allow some of their stars to leave on the cheap.

Leicester have been linked with a £2m move for the goalkeeper, but Hull are likely to demand considerably more for the 32-year old’s signature in the coming months.

Hull have the option to extend Jakupovic’s contract, which currently runs for another 12-months, until the end of the 2019/20 campaign, leaving the Tigers in a strong position regarding transfers.

The former Swiss international was one of Hull’s standout performers in the top-flight last season, and despite the club’s relegation, Jakupovic impressed during his 22 Premier League appearances, which has seen him come to the attention of Leicester

Hull have already sold one of their high-profile players to Leicester this summer, with Harry Maguire leaving the KCOM Stadium for a reported £17m.
