Recently relegated side Hull City are this year’s favourites to clinch promotion back to the Premier League, as promotion odds are released by Sky Bet.
The Tigers fell to relegation despite some excellent Premier League performances, and their relegation was put down mostly to the fact that they didn’t have a consistent goalscorer amongst their ranks.
However, Sky Bet have tipped them as the favourites for promotion next year at 9/4. The sides relegated with them, QPR and Burnley, are also seen as likely to go back up, with Burnley priced at 11/4 and QPR at 4/1.
Those least likely to reach the Premier League are Huddersfield Town, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United. The Terriers are 14/1, the Addicks 25/1 and the Millers 33/1 to make the big time.
League One winners Bristol City are deemed at the ninth most likely to return to the top flight at 11/2. Preston and MK Dons are both 11/1 to reach promotion.
