Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki is no closer to resolving his future, according to a report by The Hull Daily Mail.

Kamil Grosicki is keen to leave this summer but Hull City are adamant that they will not make a loss on the £7m fee they paid for him in the January transfer window.

With Hull City standing firm on their valuation of Grosicki, he is struggling to force a move away from the KCOM Stadium.

The only interest that has been generated has come from Watford and Newcastle United but neither club have firmed that up with a formal bid.

Furthermore, Leonid Slutsky has insisted that no more assets will be sold after losing the likes of Eldin Jakupovic, Harry Maguire, Tom Huddlestone and Curtis Davies.

Hull City are keen to now build on their squad rather than losing any more players.

As a result, Kamil Grosicki might struggle to leave the club during the summer window with just one month left to find a new club.

The Poland international did not feature in Hull's latest pre-season fixture and it remains to be seen whether he will be given a chance to impress in the Tigers' first Championship game of the season, which will be away at Aston Villa in the late kick-off next Saturday.

The Verdict

Hull City are right to put their foot down on this one.

In an inflated market, you don't want to make a loss on a £7m investment just six months later.

If no clubs are prepared to match this bid then Grosicki needs to knuckle down and impress during the first half of the season to earn himself a move away in the January window.

If Hull City do keep Grosicki and he starts performing at his best, then they will have one of the best players in the Championship on their hands.
