After just one season in the Premier League, Hull City are back in the Championship, and they face the prospect of a huge rebuilding process over the summer.

The Tigers are still manager-less, after Marco Silva departed for Watford last week. Leonid Slutsky and Nigel Adkins currently lead the way as the favourites to take over at the KCOM.

On top of losing their manager, Hull also face the prospect of a squad overhaul, with Andrea Rannochia, Oumar Niasse, Lazar Markovic and Alfred N'Diaye all returning to their parent clubs.

As well as the returning loan stars, the Tigers are also faced with losing several first team stars, with Kamil Grosicki, Harry Maguire, Andy Robertson and Eldin Jakupovic all linked with moves away.

One man who looks certain to leave is Grosicki, who Hull have slapped a £7 million price tag on, as they look to recoup most of what they paid back in January.

The man who should be brought in to replace the Polish international, is Aiden McGeady.

The Irishman set the Championship alight with his performances for Preston, and with little chance he will ever feature for Everton, the Tigers should swoop in to take him before anyone else.

As the season grew older, McGeady got stronger, and at the end of the campaign, you could argue he was the leagues in form player.

With plenty of tricks in his locker, McGeady is the perfect winger, and his ability to beat players would rival that of most Premier League players.

After losing Markovic, and looking resigned to losing Grosicki, Hull don't have much in the way of attacking threat out wide, which would make McGeady a timely signing.
