Hull City have made a decent start to their campaign back in the Championship season, but their squad is far from complete.

The Tigers were relegated from the Premier League last year despite a very valiant fight against the drop, finishing 18th in the table in a turbulent season for the Yorkshire-based side.

Hull are about 25/1 with most bookmakers to win the Championship, and there are plenty of places to place a bet, so use the highest rated sites for 2017.

Their summer transfer window has seen a busy exit door, with key players like Harry Maguire, Andrew Robertson and Sam Clucas all departing for the Premier League, as well as Curtis Davies, Tom Huddlestone and Ahmed Elmohamady who left for rival Championship side.

The conclusion to their window saw a flurry of new players join like Nouha Dicko, Stephen Kingsley and Jon Toral all signing the dotted line to beef up their options.

They do look a tad on the short side in centre back, with Michael Hector, Michael Dawson and Ondrej Mazuch their only options in the centre of defence.

They could therefore use some more options in at the back, but are clearly hindered by their inability to sign anyone now.

It's a little known fact that ex-Swansea City defender Chico Flores is available having been released by Qatari side Lekhwiya, having made 60 appearances for the club.

'Chico' was an extremely strong side of a very impressive Swansea City side. He won the League Cup with the Jacks in his first season in England, and may hope to end his career back in the country.

He would be a decent player at Championship level and would give Hull the boost they need at the back.
