Hull City have seen a second bid for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna, according to the Evening Express.
The Tigers and manager Nigel Adkins are keen to add some reinforcements to the squad in January and see the young defender as the ideal addition, but have so far been flatly rejected by the Scottish club as they attempt to woo McKenna to the KCom.
McKenna has been in impressive form for the Dons this season and that form has seen him attract plenty of attention from clubs in England, with Hull now leading the chase for the 21-year-old.
Adkins though will remain confident of capturing McKenna, with the lure of Championship football - and wages - something which will be on the players mind as he considers his options going forward.
There is no word on if McKenna sees his future away from Aberdeen, but if the Tigers can see a bid accepted, then McKenna would be hard pressed to turn down a move to the Championship.
Hull fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
