Championship strugglers Hull City remain interested in signing Celtic starlet Ryan Christie if he is available this summer, according to a report in the Daily Star.

The 23-year-old has been playing his football for Aberdeen this term following a season long loan move from the Bhoys, and has been impressing with his displays, leading to admiring glances from Nigel Adkins and the Tigers down in the Championship.

Christie is thought to be keen to prove himself under Brendan Rodgers at Celtic though, and if afforded the chances, he could well opt to stay put at Celtic Park and earn his keep in the green and white.

However, if those first team opportunities are not forthcoming, then Christie could indeed be open to a move, with a return to Aberdeen one option, or, the move to Hull and a transfer into the English game as a result.

The midfielder's form for Aberdeen has earnt him him some admiring glances this season and he has two Scotland caps to his name so far. A move to the Championship would well give him a further boost as he looks to add to that tally, and with Celtic having such a depth of talent available, it might well be Christie opts to move on.

Hull fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
