Hull City have confirmed that the club has reached an agreement with Antalyaspor for the signing of Dogukan Sinik.

The 23-year old is now set to join the Tigers following this stage of transfer negotiations.

The player will now need to agree personal terms, with a medical also to be completed before the move is made official.

He is set to meet up with the squad at their pre-season training camp in Marbella in order to complete these stages of the deal.

Sinik has already made his Turkish international debut, playing in a 6-0 drubbing of Lithuania in a game where he bagged a brace.

The winger played 32 times at club level in the Super Lig, scoring three and assisting five as Antalyaspor came 7th in the table.

Sinik came through the academy with the Turkish club and has grown in importance year on year.

Last season was his most prolific campaign as he became a standout player in the side.

This was his best return for both goals and assists as the club earned their best league position during his time as a regular starter.

The Verdict

With Keane Lewis-Potter set to depart the team for a Premier League move, this is a pretty essential signing.

Hull need reinforcements in attack even without the exit of such a crucial player.

This also continues the Turkish revolution of Hull, which began in earnest with the takeover of the club by Acun Ilicali in January of this year.

This looks to be a promising signing, with Sinik having shown potential to become a solid player at Championship level.
