Hull City have announced their 2018/19 retained list on the club's official site.

Max Clark, Abel Hernandez, Seb Larsson and Moses Odubajo have all been offered new contracts by the club.

Alan McGregor was offered a new contract as well but opted to join Rangers, whilst Michael Dawson's future is still being discussed. However, David Meyler hasn't been offered a new deal, so he will be leaving this summer.

Larsson and Clark both featured a lot for the Tigers this season while Odubajo and Hernandez have been limited by injuries. The Uruguayan striker is a summer target for a number of clubs, including Leeds and Aston Villa, due to being one of the top strikers in the division, so he is unlikely to stay.

The Verdict

Hernandez leaving would be a blow for the club, but they managed well without him this season because they scored 70 league goals and he was only involved in 10 games with eight goals.

Although Harry Wilson is going back to his parent-club, so they need to bolster their forward options.

Clark, Larsson and Odubajo are all good enough for this level, so keeping them would be good business.

Odubajo's return will be welcomed because he hasn't played since the end of the 2015/16 season, which is a shame because he was showing himself to be a top full-back.
