Hull City man delivers passionate social media message following return

Fraizer Campbell has taken to his personal Instagram account to deliver a message expressing his delight at returning to Hull City earlier this week.

Following his release from Crystal Palace at the end of the 2016/17 season, Campbell became a free agent, but has been snapped up by Hull on a two-year deal.

Hull also have an option to extend the 29-year-old’s contract by a further year.

Campbell’s return to Hull comes ten years after he spent the season on-loan in East Yorkshire from Manchester United.

During that spell in the 2007/08 season, Campbell was a huge hit at the KCOM Stadium, making 37 appearances and scoring 15 goals, as Hull reached the Premier League via the play-off final.

Taking to social media after his return to Hull was announced, Campbell wrote: “It’s very exciting to be back at Hull City after 10 years. Can’t wait to get started and help the team get back to the Premier League.”

Hull are preparing for their return to the Sky Bet Championship under Leonid Slutsky, and Campbell has become the Tigers’ second signing of the summer so far, following the arrival of Ola Aina from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

More arrivals are expected in the coming days, after Hull agreed an £8m fee with Liverpool over the signing of Kevin Stewart, who is expected to enter discussions with the Championship outfit over personal terms at the KCOM Stadium.

Hull fans… What do you make of Campbell’s comments? Are you pleased he is back at your club? Let us know your thoughts!
