Hull City could look to replace Andrew Robertson in this transfer window and have asked about Stephen Kinglsey at Swansea, according to Alan Nixon.

The Tigers are looking to add a new left back after losing their Scottish star Robertson to Liverpool last week, and have now turned to Swansea and Kingsley in their pursuit of a new fullback.

Kingsley broke into the Swans line-up last season and delivered a string of excellent performances to cement himself as a top prospect. The 23-year-0ld Scot though could well see his chances limited this season under Paul Clement, as he fell out of favour towards the end of last season.

The chance to move to Hull though and be part of a team which will no doubt be challenging for promotion in the Championship, could well be an opportunity Kingsley does not want to pass up on.

Kingsley joined the Swans from Falkirk in 2014, and has since enjoyed spells with Crewe and Yeovil before making his first team bow last season.

Hull are looking to bounce back from their relegation from the Premier League last term under new management, and will be hoping to get off to a good start when they begin their Championship campaign next weekend.
