According to The Hull Daily Mail, the agent of Ahmed Elmohamady has revealed that his client will be leaving Hull City during the summer transfer window.

Ahmed Elmohamady's agent Nader Shawky has claimed that the versatile Hull player will leave the club and join another team in England, rather than move abroad.

The 29-year-old arrived in England in 2010, signing an initial loan deal with Sunderland before penning a permanent deal with the Black Cats.

After three years and more than fifty appearances for Sunderland, Ahmed Elmohamady followed Steve Bruce to Hull City in 2013, where he has been ever since.

Some reports have suggested that Steve Bruce wants to sign Ahmed Elmohamady for the third time and add him to his Aston Villa squad.

The Egyptian international - with 74 caps for his country - is a useful asset to have in your squad because of the versatility he offers.

Elmohamady can operate at right back, right wing back, central midfield or as a winger.

He has vast experience of English football, having played over 200 games in the top two flights here and he reportedly prefers to stay in England.

However, Elmohamady will not be staying at Hull City following their relegation to the Championship.

Ahmed Elmohamady is expected to join the likes of Harry Maguire and Harvey Rodgers in leaving the Tigers with Eldin Jakupovic, Andrew Robertson, Josh Tymon and more expected to also leave.
