Hull City have held a long-term interest in Jordan Graham and the Tigers are in the race to try and secure his signature this summer, according to Hull Live.

Graham is a player that has been attracting plenty of transfer interest this summer after he made the decision to turn down the offer of a new deal with Gillingham. That means he is available on a free transfer and having scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 39 league games last term in the English third tier there are plenty of potential suitors.

Football League World previously revealed that Birmingham City are interested in securing a move for Graham this summer, with Lee Bowyer thought to be keen on the 26-year-old having attempted to sign during his time in charge of Charlton Athletic.

It has also been revealed by Football League World that Lincoln City have made an offer to the attacker to try and tempt him to making the switch to Sincil Bank this summer.

Although a report from Birmingham Live has suggested that a move to Lincoln is looking unlikely for Graham amid the interest from Birmingham City and other Championship sides.

The latest report from Hull Live reveals that the Tigers have held an interest in signing Graham for a while now and he is a player that they are keen to add to their squad this summer.

The verdict

Graham would be an excellent signing for Hull to make this summer, it seems as though the attacker is going to get the chance to move to the Championship with either the Tigers or Birmingham City and whoever lands him on a free transfer would have pulled off a major positive addition to their squad.

The 26-year-old is someone that managed to get his reputation back on track last season with his excellent form for Gillingham in League One. He can both create and score goals and is not afraid to have drive forwards in possession and commit defenders. He is exactly the type of player that Hull will need to sign to try and help them re-establish themselves in the Championship.

The Tigers are going to have to try and beat Birmingham to his signature and that is not going to be easy and they might therefore have to move swiftly to secure a move for Graham. This would be a very promising move if they were to be able to pull it off.
