Hull City are considering a move for Cardiff City’s Kenneth Zohore, as they look to bolster their squad ahead of a return to the Sky Bet Championship, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

Following relegation from the Premier League last season, Hull are facing an exodus of players, and new manager, Leonid Slutsky, has been tasked with rebuilding the Tigers’ squad.

Abel Hernandez’s future at the KCOM Stadium is in doubt, which has led to Slutsky considering a move for Cardiff’s Zohore.

Neil Warnock is keen for Zohore, 23, to remain at the Cardiff City Stadium this summer, as he plans a promotion push with the Bluebirds, and it is only likely that a substantial offer will tempt the Welsh club to sell the striker.

Zohore was in inspired form during the second-half of the 2016/17 season, scoring 12 goals and helping Warnock take Cardiff from the Championship’s relegation zone, to a top-half finish in just eight-months.

Hull are in desperate need to secure the service of a striker this summer, having been one of the Premier League’s poorest attacking teams last season, scoring just 37 goals.

Robert Snodgrass finished the season as the club’s top goalscorer with nine, despite the Scottish international leaving during the January transfer window.

Do you think Cardiff will be tempted to sell Zohore if Hull make an offer? Or will Warnock prevent a deal from happening? Let us know your thoughts!
