According to the Hull Daily Mail, Eldin Jakupovic is expected to complete his move from Hull City to Leicester City within the next 24 hours.

The goalkeeper is set to become the latest name to leave the KCOM Stadium, and has left Hull’s training camp to finalise a move back to the Premier League.

Leicester are keen to add Jakupovic to their squad ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and the 32-year-old is expected to compete with Kasper Schmeichel for a starting berth at the King Power Stadium.

Curtis Davies, Harry Maguire, Josh Tymon, Shaun Maloney and most recently, Tom Huddlestone, have all left the KCOM Stadium this summer, and Jakupovic is expected to be added to that list early this week, as he ends a five-year association with the Tigers.

During his time in East Yorkshire, the goalkeeper has made 55 appearances for Hull, with the majority of those coming in the Premier League last season, after two separate spells out on-loan with Leyton Orient.

Jakupovic made 22 Premier League appearances in Hull’s sole campaign back in the top-flight, and 27 across all competitions, keeping six clean sheets.

The 32-year-old featured in both Hull’s fixtures against Leicester last season.
